Rakta Moksana is the process of letting out impure blood from the body, so that blood borne diseases get relieved. Siabedhana and jolouka Aavacarana are most effective processes used in Rakta Moksana.

Sirabedhana : Here blood letting is done by an incision to the vein of dependent part according to the disease. Like Basti, it is half of the treatment in surgery.

Jalouka Avacaranas : Here a non-poisonous and medicated leach suck impure blood from the affected areas.
